The ZS3 would not be suitable for light graffiti because you need to be able to manually set the aperture for the darkest setting and the shutter speed for the slowest setting.
The ZS3 will not let you do that.
The ZS5 does have High Definition video (HD) but it does not have a HDMI connector.
That means you have to copy the HD video to the computer and burn it to a DVD and then play it on your set-top DVD player, or connect the computer to a HDMI input on the HDTV (if your computer can do that).
The ZS3 has a HDMI connector. You will need to buy an optional HDMI cable and then you can connect the camera to a HDMI input into a HDTV.
Or you can forget about HD video and just make a normal video and plug either camera into any television.
..
i know it doesnt have manual mode but can it still does light graffiti?? i'm confused between this one and the zs5.It says that the zs5 doesnt have the hdmi but can i still plug it with a normal tv?
