Zoom-In Utility for Panther?

by tmaggio / October 29, 2004 4:07 PM PDT

Anyone know of a utility program for OS X (Panther) that would allow one to zoom in on your display? I teach and being able to zoom in on a particular screen display is very useful. Mac OS 8 - 9 allowed an Apple control panel to do this. Unfortunately, it is not supported by Classic.
Thanks

In OS X, take a look at the System Preferences and you will see the Universal Access icon. That will allow you to do all the things that you wish to do.
Hope this helps

Yes, the short cut is [Command + Option + Plus sign] to zoom in, and [Command + Option + Minus sign] to zoom out.

Although the short cuts mentioned in the last email are correct, the poster missed out one important step. You will still have to go to System Preferences/Universal Access and turn ON the Zoom function before the shortcuts will work.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
