Zone Alarm Pro--> Basic messed up network

by LarryD / September 21, 2004 10:09 AM PDT

The XP home network ran perfectly under ZA Pro !15 day free trial). When I clicked to downgrade to basic, it blocked access to my home network. I tried adding the IP address of my other computer as a trusted zone, to no avail. Can you walk me through this, or is this a trick to get me to purchase the pro version?

do a complete uninstall of ALL ZA components, run regclean, reboot, install ZA basic again...

that "should" solve the problem...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
