Zone Alarm..?? help me out..

i'm was so much used to ZA security suite 7. then i upgraded to 8th ver.. my pc slowed down and the more annoying thing, it took too much of time to shut down.. so i went back to ZA 7.. and now i'm not able to get database updates for that.. the anti virus starts updating but finnaly it terminates with some error.. but the spyware gets updated well.. wat shud i do..??
