Zone Alarm??

by Maisie663 / June 28, 2006 2:19 AM PDT

I have Dell XP, 2 pack, desktop 3000 and am on DSL. a year ago I had Zone Alarm as my firewall and removed, it so I thought, my computor froze up and I could not get onto the internet, my service provider checked it and said something on the computor is blocking access, not their lines.I took it tech, it was pieces of Zone Alarm so he got it out! I have Lavosoft Firewall which is fine..I also have Adaware SE Personal which works fine, what is happening Adaware keeps warning me about software called Zone Alarm is trying access my registery--I deny all their accesses. There is no sign Zone Alarm this computor. Trend Micro is also picking up Zone Alarm in scans--there maybe a logical answer but I have NO idea what. I also have Webroot Spysweeper and AVG--I don't want anymore, controling that, enough without over kill. It is suggested maybe it a false positive some kind what ever that is. At any rate it is irratating indeed.
