im runnin xp home all udates.
get a norton warnuing saying zlob trying to access comp.
run norton says clean, ewido says clean, bit defender says clean, ms live says im clean.
im at a loss what to do next

Symantec seems to know about this virus/trojan do you have the latest Virus Def's?

Did you look through all the manual steps to remove it listed on the Symantec Page? It's rather involved & involves the registry.

were present.every thing says clean yet i get a norton box says virus found acsess was denied.
ift says its on my comp but im damed if i can find it
of "get a norton warnuing saying zlob trying to access comp". It sounds to me like "zlob" is trying to access the computer which means to me that it is not actually on the computer because Norton is blocking it unless you aren't explaining exactly what is happening.

trojan.zlob acess denied
ok fine on bottom it says
c\windowssystem32\ldfCo3.tmp

why does it say found?
If it says ''trojan.zlob acess denied'' that means it did NOT get in. I have had similiar experiences 2 or 3 times in the last 2 or 3 years with trojans trying to access but Norton denied access. I also got a simliar message that you did ''c\windowssystem32\ldfCo3.tmp''. I used CCleaner to clean everything out and I never had a problem afterwords. I would try that and see what happens. Do you use CCleaner?
What I would do Mark is run CCleaner, then reboot and to a complete scan with Norton. IF you are infected, it will tell you but I think you wil be OK.

about the blue screen trying safe mode. You are tapping the F8 key as it boots up? Also is it a specific website that you get this on? How often do you get it?
just ran norton it found it and deleted it keep fingers crossed.
if by sat i satay clean ill copy what i need do fresh install
like extra work for nothing to me if you got rid of it.
