I do this daily on a project I'm working on. Here's the screenshot of Zipping it up -> http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w146/rproffitt2000/?action=view¤t=SimpleBackup.jpg
Now I can put this on some USB stick. Here this directory is about 50MB daily so the 20 buck 8GB stick will hold over a years daily backup of the project.
To place this on DVD is easy enough. Here's a tutorial -> http://cdburnerxp.se/help/Data/compiledata
Hope this helps,
I spent about 10 hours over a span of 2 months backing up my hard drive to Xdrive a few years ago. When AOL dumped it, Xdrive zipped all 18 Gb to a 620 Mb file, that I could put on one cd. It took 14 hours to do this, but it did it. How can I do anything like that? I'd like to be able to backup a 25 Gb drive to a cd or DVD.
