Zero fill my hd

by CascaLonginus / December 9, 2008 8:21 AM PST

I have a western digital sata raptor hd. I went to the wd support web site and downloaded "wd diagnostics for dos" to zero fill my hd, and using Nero burning room, I made a bootable disk to zero fill. After restarting my computer, the program said it couldn't find the license agreement therefore would not work. (I did this twice, made 2 disks)My question is, is there any other free DOD approved zero fill programs I can use to do this? Thanks in advace.

I guess no one has ever called a tech support number.....I have, and since they can barely speak English they are of no use. They said it was Nero, that's why I downloaded twice, and made 2 disk's.

WIPE DISK by White Canyon. Don't recall having to wipe an SATA but I'm sure that time will come.

DBAN or KILLDISK.

See if either will do what you want.
