Continuing research has already put "lasers" on a Navy ship, jet airplane, and now from the ground. the results will do harm to what it aims at. Ground forces already use lasers to "paint" or tag a target in order for rocket or bomb to hit its target. It was only a matter of time before you'll see these newer lasers once practical, become the norm on tracked vehicles and field units. engage... -----Willy Happy

I've seen the demo of the Navy laser and WOW! Now I must wonder what happens if one misses its target. Unlike a bullet, a laser beam doesn't slow and fall to the earth.

at the correct frequencies would do better I'd think. Almost all war machines, planes, cars, trucks, use microwave sensitive computer parts to run them. Only older diesel engines might work OK.
