ZA7 + windows updates = no internet access

by Lisa / September 26, 2008 5:40 PM PDT

Since my comp automatically did the latest windows updates, with ZA7 running, none of my browsers can access the internet but outlook express is fine. I tried updating ZA to 8- had to revert back to 7-

i read something about uninstalling critical update 951748,due to an interferrance with it and ZA, but its not in my add remove- i also, with out without ZA running get page cannot be displayed at windows update site now and I couldnt get the downloads to work at ZA- just get page cannot bedisplayed-

I have no idea what is happening- i ran online care clean up and it fixed what it found wrong. but I just cant run ZA no matter what- im on dial up- windows xp , za7.0.483.000. and i dont know why but when i hit the check for updates button in ZA it goes to ZA, then goes to a page cannot be displayed- I managed to update ccleaner and get that to run. im so frazzled this week im not even sure what all info i need to provide.

I really like ZA because I can block programs that I dont want the kids using on the internet, and they dont know its ZA blocking programs like media player etc. from working- help. thanks so much for any help.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
