The Z is the newest model by Kodak. It's suppose to be better than the not so old DX. It or they have superzoom capabilities. 10X. Good cameras cause the dock makes them convenient. With High zoom cameras, look for image stabilization or a high iso to prevent blurry photos. Panasonic or Konica Minolta both have that

Kodak comparison
Sep 18, 2005 5:44AM PDT

When you compare the specifications there does not seem to be an signifficant difference.

When you check the Kodak website they say the DX7590 comes with a camera dock and the Z7590 does not.

However when you check a site that sells the DX7590, they say it does not come with a camera dock.

Most confusing.

.............

As far as price.....I find them to be the same:

newegg.com -
price with shipping is $331 for Z7590 and
price with free shipping is $332 for DX7590.
