Z520a, bluetooth and my Prius...

I'm trying to figure out why my phone and car don't seem to like each other. I start up the Prius and the navi says the bluetooth is enabled but after a minute or two, it says the connection has failed. When I use my Jambra bluetooth headset, it works great all the time and I don't have them both on at the same time. Any clues would be great before I get into the middle of a Toyota and Cingular pointing match.
