Z-680 and Audigy 2 set up

Hello, I just bought and set-up my Logitech z-680's and my Augidy 2 ZS card. They both work great, but I had a couple questions. First, I just wanted to know if I should edit any settings to make the speakers and soundcard work and sound better together. I also wanted to connect my DVD player and PS2 to the speakers and then to my TV. I just wanted to know how I should connect each...should I use coaxial or optical for the dvd player or the PS2? I also wanted to know how I could connect the TV to recieve the sound...should I plug it into the soundcard? Thanks.
