YP-T9 HELP????

by themaindude / February 29, 2008 6:14 PM PST

im having a problem with my samsung YP-T9 mp3 player. when i connect it to my pc via the provided usb cable i get a frustrateing problem that prevents me from accessing my music via my pc.... my pc pops up with 2 options... sync with media player and take no action while before hand it used to give me more options open folder to veiw files... now when i select the sync with media player option media player says no device was found... and also i used to be able to select music to play on my mp3 player in the music it says NO FILE and thats not at all true...when i go into the system setting and select memory i can see 1.6gb of music..... all this is the right format as it used to play fine before this problem started. i have searched lots of forums for anyone having the same problem and have found nothing so far.

so heres my problems again

* Device not showing in my computer. but showing in device manager
* No device found. when trying to sync with media player
* Less options when in windows device connection pop up screen
* mp3 player says NO FILE when trying to access music from the music option in the mp3 player menu.

the mp3 player is working... i can access music through the file browser option.

i have tried everything i can think of... restoring default settings on mp3 player..... i tried connecting it to my laptop aswell as my pc just to make sure it wasnt a problem with my pc. i have tried uninstalling and re-installing the device driver.

hope sumone can help me

If not, a warranty issue.

Sync issues are legendary on home installed Windows. Your install?

Finally, review and look for the word MTP, SYNC, others.

Yes, that's a common complaint. See the link I supplied about going back.
