YP-MT6 keeps freezing! Please help!

Sep 7, 2005 7:21AM PDT

so I got a YP-MT6 like in June. And it keeps freezing. Like when it freezes, I can't switch songs, change the volume, or even turn it off. It's just frozen. If it's playing a song, it continues to play untill the end, and then it just stops. The only way I found to turn it off is by taking out the battery. Then when I put it back in and turn it on it usually freezes, sometimes at the "how much space you got left" screen, or it plays the song I was just listening to, and it's still frozen, and when the song reaches the end, it just stops. But for some reason, sometimes it just works again. Anyone else have this problem?

Reflash REFLASH

This usually solves all problems. Be sure and flash to 2.121. Do NOT use 2.27 since there is a bug in this version that limits songs to 385. Usually not a problem except in the MT6Z 1GB model. But still recommend using 2.121. MUST flash in RECOVERY mode. Follow Samsung instructions.

BTW this is one of the VERY BEST MP3 PLAYERS. 42hrs on AA. OGG. SRS WOW equalizer. Simple gui joystick. Quality built. 1yr warranty...15months if you register it.

how do you flash? or reflash? or whatever? I have the booklet that came with the mp3 player, could you maybe tell me what page flash or reflash is on? I can't find it. or maybe could you give me a step by step instruction to do this flash thing? thanks!
