Since "Up to this point, I haven't had a single problem with it." why would you fix it?
Won't even power up now. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Up to this point, I haven't had a single problem with it.

Same thing happened to me. Take the battery out, press and hold forward/pause and plug into usb port. Hold button in during whole process. Computer should recognize new hardware which is something like ''recovery''. Let XP find installation driver. When complete, run installation of new firmware again ie ''YP-MT6 updater''. Keep that button in the whole time. It did the job for me.

This has been well documented on CCz forum:

1. Remove battery
2. Start 2.121 Updater on PC...will be searching for Samsung Player
3. Hold "ON" button for 5 sec
4. Connect to PC WHILE STILL HOLDING ON BUTTON
5. Continue holding for another 10 sec.
6. Updater should recognize your player and start the FLASH process. Recommend FORMATTING and then re-installing all your music.
Latest two FIRMWARE from Samsung 2.121 and 2.27 require update be made in RECOVERY MODE. 2.27 has a major bug that LIMITS NUMBER OF SONGS TO 385. I recommend sticking with 2.121 which has the OGG truncation bug corrected.
