Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with that player.
Often times, however, Samsung does include a software package that allows you to convert and transfer the movies over, and does put them in a file format that should align everything (and save valuable memory space). Have you transferred the files using the software? That's probably the best suggestion I can make at this point.
Dear Team Samsung,
I recently purchased a YP-M1 mp3 player (the 8GB model without DMB for 299,000 Won).
One of the reasons for purchase was because it supported numerous types of video files, which the iPod cannot do.
However, I noticed when a video file is played on the device, the audio is slightly out of sync with the video. This happens with all video files. (And yes, I checked to see if the original file's audio and video was out of sync - it's not. The files' video and audio are perfectly sync when played on my PC.)
It's currently very annoying to watch video on the YP-M1 because of the issue above.
My question for Team Samsung is if this will be addressed in a future software release, or if the device I have is a bad unit.
(FYI, I purchased the device in Korea - I live in Korea.)
