Resolved Question

YouTube: blank screen when I switch to 'full screen'

Aug 3, 2011 8:56AM PDT

On watching YouTube videos via Internet Explorer and Firefox,
a fault occurs. I can watch the video on small screen, but when I switch to
full screen, although I can hear the sound, there is no picture, just a dark
blank screen.

This fault does not occur when I watch YouTube videos via
Chrome.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Google "Flash disable hardware acceleration" and try that.

Nothing like a new feature so many can learn to turn it off.
