Hi rbn920,

The YouTube application should be installed on your TV. It appears in the recommended applications beside Netflix and Hulu plus. If you still do not see it I would suggest a Smart Hub reset. I am providing a link explaining this process.

UN40EH5300FXZA Youtube app missing
by nishant54321 / March 3, 2014 2:53 AM PST

Hi Samsung_HD_Tech,
Is this information you are saying genuine?
I am also having problem with my UN40EH5300FXZA model TV (Version: UD03). I talked with the samsung representative and they said that youtube app is not compatible with this model, and you're saying this different.
Let me know.

UN40eh5300f is not a UN40EH5300FXZA so reveal a bit more such as country.

-> I'd like to read more about this "fully compatible" statement. I find some are comparing the app to this app on other devices. That is, these can differ in capability and some want this version on that TV. IF SO, the statement is true!

Hi nishant54321,

I apologize for the confusion. I misspoke when I said that the UN40EH5300F is compatible with YouTube. The information I was using was for the UN40ES5300 which is compatible with YouTube. Unfortunately the UN40EH5300F model is not compatible with the YouTube application. I apologize for the inconvenience.

wrong information by SAMSUNG
by nishant54321 / March 6, 2014 10:43 AM PST

Yes, there you go....Okay I have been trying to call customer support and doing 2 round of online chat...telling them that the online site where I bought this model TV shows the youtube app on the television picture (check samsung official website for this model TV)....dell store also writes on their website explicitly that this model TV is compatilbe with youtube....and I also tried telling them that the samsung online brand ambassador on the public forum endorse this...so how come this model TV I bought doesn't have this app.
Why does this model "so called SMART TV (from samsung)" doesn't have Youtube app?
What should be done for this wrong information provided to customer by SAMSUNG?

Try supplying exact model numbers in the forum. I shared links to the Samsung.com site to see if it was this or that model. That way we can check. But I see this can upset some. Keep trying and check if you can swap it for another model if the seller didn't represent it right.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
