Add a text message or other email address to help regain access if there is a problem. It's your choice to do this but I did finally read where someone would not do this and they were going to get that message forever. No, I don't know of anything new I can add besides this. That is, plenty on the web but I thought I'd add something I ran into.
I felt the problem had gone after a few changes and running the software one of the moderators suggested. No I was wrong. It is back again.
I have changed to the new Yahoo Mail, I have changed my password, I ran the software not all of it ,some of it was beyond my comprehension.
All the results brought no malware to kill except the first one listed. I had followed the advice and cleaned it up whatever it brought up.
Yes for a few days I did not get that issue, though I did not use my computer for a few days not for any particular cleaning purpose just as it happens I did not need to, but it came back and is there on my laptop.
I am not sure what else I could do ! It is annoying though I can not see any malfunction because of it.
I still would like to clear it up. I have thought about changing my yahoo all together though I have been using it for many years and all my contacts have it as my reliable email account. Please help.
