Your Suggestion Please...

I am goint to build my budget desktop PC for daily translating job and writing and also for 3D game such as NFS U II (not expecting in full detail though )
Here are my spec.

Mobo
Abit NF7-S v2.0 or
Abit NF7-S2 (prefer this due to its price)

Proc
AMD Athlon XP 1800+

Mem
Kingston 256 MB DDR SDRAM (KVR400X64C3A/256)

VGA Card
ASUS GeForce MX 4000 (64M) (64 MB)

Hard Drive
Western Digital (WD400JD) 40 GB S-ATA

DVD ROM
Samsung (TS-H352A/WBGH) Internal

Casing
Simbadda black 400W

Keyboard and Mouse
Logitech black combo

As you can can see I am aiming at budget components with expectation of upgrading it in the future. Interested in Athlon64 but the price is still higher. probabaly gonna use this desktop for a while and build a new athlon64 one when the price go cheaper.

Need your advice and input on the performance of these components, and maybe can suggest different spec with better or same quality and spec at lower budget . I kind of hard up these days
