Your new policy of not letting people using adblockers is not only wrong its outright bad business you have just lost over 35% or your readers through this change(btw that figure came from your own staff... ) and yet it's still here.

I use adblockers and have no problems watching the videos. normally all you have to do click on the window, then right click the video and activate the flash plugin.

No problem at all.

CNET makes its money from the ads. So people with adblockers don't bring any revenue. So it makes no financial difference for us if they view or don't view a page. If they prefer the last, so be it.

No problem here either.

I'm using ABP and it is working fine.

I have no trouble watching videos either.

Mozilla, who develops my Firefox browser, disabled Flash in its browser some time ago because Adobe's Flash was often full of vulnerabilities. But I just click on the video message, then click, "Allow once", to watch any videos from sources I trust.

But that was Mozilla, not CNET, and that has nothing to do with adverts.

CNET's Junk Website
Jul 6, 2016 12:21PM PDT

Yeah, cnet is pretty bad these days...loading +30- trackers and other nonsense each time you switch pages. I would -gladly- pay a small subscription to miss out on jumpy pages, spinning beach balls of death, frozen pages that have to be completely backed out of. Cnet tries to be all cutting edge and slick, but it makes the site nearly unusable, and certainly more trouble than what its worth. What ever happened to providing content instead of trying to outdo the appearance (which doesn't mean squat) of other websites?

Thanks. I'll try that. I'm using 'Ghostery' on a MacBook Pro with Safari, and I'm about to start throwing things!
