The opposite of "backed down" is NOT "backed up"

Reporter asked him if he "backed down" on citizenship question on census.

His response...."NO..... he backed up".

Someone told him what to do and he listened?

What are you talking about?

BO is the one who made the decision to take it OUT after more than 150 years of it being asked in the census.

If it's ok to ask what your race is, where you were born, how many kids you have, what your religion is, etc., why shouldn't the government that is sending MONEY to subsidize your schools, etc be able to ask the question again about whether you are a citizen of this country? I was against BO taking it off the census when he did it.....were you? Do you believe it should be asked?

Who are you talking to?
With this goofy arrow system I can't follow a thread.

Perhaps we should all do what I did with the title of this post and put the post that the reply is for.

Lee has an open thread in forum feed back about this new format.

Perhaps if everyone was to post there about this arrow stuff something might get done.

I'll have to see what it's like on the Library PCs to make an informed judgment.
Although you guys seem not to like it anyway. The full disqus sites have one advantage. While writing a reply I can scroll back up to the post to read it as I go. Easier to check errors and for clarity.
