I too am a homemaker and a mother of 3 children, youngest being 3 years old. Between doing housework and caring for children leaves me little time to do much of anything else. This past Christmas, my husband purchased a Kodak Easyshare C340 and it has been my best friend. It is small and has its other convinient features also. You can print your photos at home on the Easyshare printing dock also included with the camera. You can use with or without a computer. The photos are waterproof and can be printed 1 photo per sheet or more. Picture transfer to a computer is quick and easy. Battery charges pretty fast too. And the price is $250.00 Memory cards are about $40.00 but it also has internel memory..Not Much. You can also use it as a camcorder and record even more memories. Check it out on Kodak's website. Good luck Shopping!
I am in the market for a Digital Camera. My needs are very simple. I'm a Homemaker and Mom. I don't need bells, whistles, or any other fancy stuff.
I've never had a digital camera before, and in fact, since my last film camera broke, I've been buying those 'disposable' cameras to have on hand for Christmas, Birthdays, etc...
I thought that getting a digital camera would be a fun, new way for me to record Family events and milestones, but the sheer volume of information out there about the various cameras has me in a tailspin.
I figure I would do just fine with somewhere around a 5 megapixel camera, and I have about $200 and if I really push it, $300 to spend out of our tax return for the camera.
So, what advice do you all have for me? I have been reading through the threads here, but I haven't yet found anyone that has a similar situation to mine.
Thanks in advance,
Julie M. ![]()
