They have absolutely sucked, except for A-Rod and Jeter (though even he was a bit shaky defensively for the first few days of the season). Pavano is on the DL again, this time for apparently a hangnail or some other life-threatening injury. What a waste of money.
I hope they've snapped out of it because I have tickets to the game in Arlington on Tuesday!
...that he's no longer the most overpaid disappointment in New York. OK, maybe he wasn't joking.
We have tickets to tonight's game but the weather forecast isn't good. The Yankees have owned the Rangers over the last 10 years or so; if they lose this series they're really hopeless.
I have to ask: Is anyone besides NY and Boston playing?!
And what a heartbreak that he had to leave the game in the 7th with a hamstring injury. He had a no-hitter going against the Rangers, ironically on the anniversary of the day Nolan Ryan pitched his 7th no-hitter for the Rangers. Hughes really pitched well. It was great to watch. Had he done it, it would have been the first no-hitter I've ever seen live.
