Yamaha RX-V663 AV receiver USB port

Newly purchased receiver and suddenly the USB port on the front of the unit does not recognize devices such as iPods or iPhones and does not charge these devices either...

Clarification Request
does that model require the dock accessory?

I vaguely recall that at least one of the major brands may require the dock accessory to work with USB.

AFAIK, the only workaround would be to use iPod (headphone output) -->> (RCA L/R input) Yamaha. Again, that's if my supposition is correct that the dock is required ;(.

Try asking @ AVS forum too.

Thanks, Pepe7 - I don't believe a dock accessory is required. The USB port worked fine for the first couple of days. The work around does solve the issue but, of course, it would be nice to have a working USB port as well!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
