You have to

You have to type the password exactly the way you did when you signed up.

Don't worry, use the lost password feature and reset your password.

Remember do NOT use words as passwords and mix it up a little. Mix number and letters and caps together, but make it so you'll remember it.

Hope this helps.

FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM I DO!!!
Feb 15, 2006 9:53PM PST

This happens to me once and a while with my yahoo account. I've had the same ID and Password for years and every once and a while I'll put in my ID and password and it'll say that it's invalid. Then, I'll type it again and it'll work. I thought that I might just be typing it in wrong, so one day I spelled out my ID & password one letter at a time very carefully and got the same result. I've contacted yahoo about this in the past and they basically said that I was full of sh*t. Whatever. It usually happens for a week or two and then it's fine for a while. More of an annoyance than anything.

I have found

I have found that if you enter your user name and password before the page is fully loaded, it will put the cursor back in the user name block, causing you to enter the wrong information.

Just let the page load and type in the information slowly, it works.

Hope this helps.

I've had that happen before, but...

I'm still with you Guru - there's a problem with Yahoo. As I said before, I have typed my user name and password in one letter at a time, very slowly and have had it tell me that it was incorrect.
