Hello Everyone!
I hae XP Prof+SP3
When downloading a programme, I was presented with the Yahoo toolbar.
For some reason, I am unable to remove it.
I have been on line and found two answers, but they do not apply.
1. get rid of it through toolbar options in toolbar settings - there is no option for this.
2. Through control panel add/delete programmes. - This doesn't work either as it does nmot appear in the control panel list of programmes!
Any advice would be appreciated.

System Restore to a time before you acquired Yahoo Toolbar.

Worth trying.

Hello Everyone!

I have just had some help from a friend. Here it is -
Right click on main toolbar beside tools-help etc.
There is an entry (here in Spain) stating 'Barra Yahoo', which, being interpreted, means Yahoo Toolbar.
If it has a check(tick) beside it, as mine did, unchek(untick) it and the toolbar disappears!

That's it, thanks for the input.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
