Yahoo Messenger

Why is it everytime I log into messenger, I get these offline messages with links to porn sites. I always "ignore" these messages and I always report them as spam but is there anything else I can do? Why and how does something like this happen? Should I be worried about this, or is it just a nuisance? Thanks...L

Yes I have run multiple scans, I run them every night. I have Norton Symantec Antivirus, and Spybot, and Ad-Aware SE. I have even run online scans from housecalls and Symantecs online scan site. All have came back clean. Someone told me it's from the "chat rooms" on Yahoo..something about porn bots...not sure about that. It is very annoying, I'd like to get rid of this porn advertisments, does anyone else have this problem, are chat rooms notorious for this kind of thing?

Whenever she login, there are unwanted offline messages.

Caused: Worm and Trojans.

Follow Tom's suggestion to scan the system using up-to-date antivirus. Also antispyware program.
