How can I get the "from", "subject" and "date" to stay separated to where I moved them to? Whenever I restart my computer and go to my in-box they are all clumped together again with no separation, very annoying to have to manually separate them all the time.
HP Pavilion laptop running Vista.

You can't. This is just one of the limitations of web based apps.

How did you move them to the desired position ?

spacing

each item shows partial info for their respective column. I move them the same way you resize a window. Put cursor over separater line, hold down left mouse button and drag to where I want it to be. That will give me room enough to read the info in each column. But when I restart browser or restart the computer the columns bunch up again.

Are you sure....

....you can resize the columns and move the items ? I cannot duplicate you you did, but then, I am using Windows Vista Home, IE8, and Yahoo Mail classic. The items and columns are spaced nicely... and I have not adjusted anything.... Anyway, if you really ar able to change things, look for somewhere to "save changes" before you log out...
