Yahoo mail account locks up browser

Using XP Prof, Inter Exp 6.0
When I login to my Yahoo mail account a grey line appears and my whole session locks up. I have to kill the browser session. This is only happening with my Yahoo account on this particular pc. I created a dummy yahoo account to test and I can login w/o any problem. This does not happen on my work pc.
