Yahoo Launchcast/Launch

Feb 9, 2005 1:57PM PST

I was able to use Yahoo's online radio in which you were able to create your own radio staion based on your music preferences and how you rate songs. I was able to use this at my high school, but I am now on my home computer and one part of "Launchcast" has trouble loading. I am able to open the seperate browser fine, and have no pop-up blocker problems. My problem lies within the player itself. The serperate browser launches and does its little intro and then I am able to pause and skip songs at the bottom, control the volume, and see how far along i am into a certain song. Above these there is a black box in which you should be able to see the song and rate it. My problem is i always get the beginning thing where it shows in "tuning". Is there anyway i can fix this?
P.S. And yes i have already exhausted all of yahoos help tips

I am experiencing the same problem. It works fine on my workstation, but my laptop just shows 'Tuning', and I also do not have the option to pause after 30 seconds of the currently playing song.

Dont try to re-formatt your computer. The problem is with your registry. Go online and download the Repair Registry Pro. This should Work. It found 130 registries damaged. If you have more questions feel free to contact me. Good Luck

Only in the past two months has this been happening.
Yahoo Launch is no help.
Here is a goody for you. My Launchcast has lost all the bands I rated. not their songs or albums, just the bands themselves.
Yahoo Launches reason for this:
Because, I red X'ed too many bands, from genres I didn't want to listen to. Launch says This is not allowed by any member; to tailor your radiostation to omit genres entirely is not allowed? That I must listen to country songs and rap together, so they can fairly premote all their musicians. Well that is a load of #$&*!
My FM radio in my car, tunes to JUST ONE GENRE! even If I can't rate and choose my songs, at least I won't get a shock; when a devil worship song comes on, being against my faith to hear it.
