Yahoo fare tracker

by kevinran / July 1, 2009 2:17 AM PDT

I use yahoo as my home page, and they have an app called "best fare tracker" It tracks airfare rates. It used to let me enter international destinations but now it won't. Anyone familier with this? Am I doing something wrong or does it no longer offer that option? Is there an app I can put on my home page that will do this? I tried to contact someone with Yahoo with no luck.....thanks for your help.kevin

I just proposed a flight from LAX (Los Angeles, California) to PAR (Paris, France) and received the expected scheduling and pricing information. Try removing and re-adding it to your My Yahoo page and using another browser to see if the problem persists.

Let us know.

thanks John I guess I'm not making myself clear. The best fare tracker is a passive app that you can add to your Yahoo front page under add content/browse content/travel. It allows you to pick favorite destinations and constantly searchs for the best fares. It used to allow me to add paris, london, madrid, etc. now it only lets me enter domestic..........

You can add/remove them from your My Yahoo page. I added it and used it to find a flight from LA to Paris, demonstrating that it does still work for international flights. Thus, either it is a minor case of account corruption, which may be resolved by removing and then re-adding the web application, or a browser issue.
