Yahoo e-mail Plus-send page or link

Recently switched to this web based e-mail. Now-when I send a page or link, the result from the pop-up is a mail sent with "from" of the original e-mail address.
Cliking on the down arrow of the "from" to select a different address not good as the desired address not in the selection.
How can I get the send page or link feature to ignore Outlook Express and enable the from of my current address? OR how can I get the link to use Yahoo Mail and not Outlook Express?
System is Windows XP and use IE which of course does include OE
