Yahoo E-mail and messanger issues!!

May 22, 2005 6:51PM PDT

OS: Windows XP Home.

I am having problems with yahoo messager as well as the email. When I sign into the yahoo.com email area it goes to a blank screen. It does not give any errors, just a blank screen. For a while it would give me a message somewhat like " Your browser does not support redirecting." That is not exactly what it said, but something near it. Now it does not even give me that error message. I have tried updating Internet Explorer, re-installing a new version of ActiveX, resetting all Internet Explorer settings, and have run multiple anti virus/spyware/malware programs. Still nothing. As for the messanger.... Today is when it started acting up. When I try to send messages it, just like the email, is nothing but a blank page. I can not even see my own text on the message window and am unable to recieve messages. Does anyone have any experence with this problem or a problem like it? If so please give me any info that may help to repair the problem.

Have you tried updating Java? Sometimes, these applications update themselves and the updated version uses a newer version of Java.
