Yahoo-crashing-etc

Mar 17, 2005 6:08AM PST

Hello,

First time user. -iMac-Safari

I used Yahoo e-mail for 5 years-never a problem. Two weeks ago my problems began. Once a day Yahoo crashes. It asks me to sign in-I do-the screen starts flashing-and that's it-Yahoo is locked up. I have to shut down-re-boot-re-sign in and that's it until the next day. My clock is correct and my computer is set to receive cookies from Internet sites I deal with. Around the time this problem(s) started) I did note that one Yahoo cookie had expired and another was expiring the next day.

additional problems.

Can't use the search feature to look for e-mail in my folders. When I try,t simply says report "a bug". I did but nothing has changed.

Also, when I go to my inbox, I see several message highlighted that I looked at the day before and had deleted. The inbox screen I first see, is often two or three screens behind. I have reported these problems to Yahoo three times but nothing has changed.

I am not what to do.If you have any advice i would apreciate it.

Thank You,

You could mean some web browser pointing at Yahoo, a Yahoo toolbar or something else.

Is the forum tip showing?
Mar 18, 2005 7:28AM PST

You could be using an Apple, PC or other with browsers, email clients and more.

Just asking. Is the Forum Tip showing up when you post? It reads -> Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.
