Resolved Question

yahmaha Receivers RX-A710 vs. RX-V671

Dec 15, 2011 7:10AM PST

I am looking st new receivers and was concidering the newer RX-A710 over the highly rated RX-V671. Does anyone see any signifigant isses or differences that would suggest the V671? My only concern is the A710has not been formerly reviewed yet by CNET or anyone else regarding sound quality etc..

The A710 is part of the Aventage series from Yamaha. Reviews I've seen on the Aventage receivers (though not the A710) have been very positive. A quick scan of features shows 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. The Aventage series is the Yamaha top series (supposedly better build quality and higher performance), although the A710 is the low end of the series.

Thanks for the link. IO had not seen that site yet. I actually bought the A710 this weekend and I am setting it up now.
