Is that important?
What I'm driving at is you seem to have copy and pasted a lot of stuff from a web page without editing what matters to you.
It's hard to tell what matters and what doesn't.

Ok, I posted about 6 months ago asking about two different laptops.
I am now looking at the new Alienware M17 vs. the Dell XPS. I do need portability. The Dell is about $200 less, but for the price of these laptops I want to get the best one. My use will be (in addition to everyday use such as surfing the web, MS Office, Hallmark Card Studio stuff, etc) will be for gaming (i.e. Microsoft Flight Simulator, etc), and HDDVD Video editing. Many of the specifications are the same... memory, etc... XPS offers a rewritable Blue Ray drive while M17 does not (although the more expensive aliendware laptop does). The XPS only comes with 1 256GB solid state drive, while the M17 comes with 2. The big question, XPS comes with dual processors, the M17 comes with quad. Also the video cards are different. I know these systems are very expensive (bout $6K), and I know that I can go to another site and try to put together my own laptop... what I want to know is, for the applications that i mentioned above and just general high end performance, which of these machines do you recommend (and yes, I've heard alienware's service is not that great... what about the machine itself?). Thanks for your input.
