XP2 Windows update

by GIVelasco / February 25, 2005 4:31 AM PST

I recently downloaded XP2 package with my automatic setting updates. My problem is that the SP2 file is somewhere my computer and do not install itself properly. There is a warning that my windows system is not-registered.
I sent Microsoft the code in my computer (Windows XP is OEM) and nobody ever answer me.
I just be grateful if somebody tell me where is located de SP2 file in order to remove it.

Try the suggestions from the Went there, but didn't see the option message (and below).

goto add/remove programs in control panel and delete sp2 from there(before that goto safe mode and also disconnect external devices)

or if sp2 is not listed in add/remove programs
then goto command prompt(start->run ->cmd)
and type cd\ hit enter
type cd windows\$ntservicepackuninstall$ hit enter
type batch sp2uninst.txt and hit enter
if sp2uninst.txt doesnot work try spuninst.txt(before that goto safe mode and also disconnect external devices except for mouse,keyboard and monitor)
