Any advice when I cannot install anything from a memory stick, nor does it allow me to restore to an earlier point in safe mode with this mal-ware?

XP Total Security Removal Instructions

Here is the link to the removal instructions for the malware you have contracted. (Note "XP Total Security" in the list of "Windows XP Rogue names".) Restart the computer into "Safe Mode with Networking" if possible to download the files mentioned.. If that doesn't work, you'll will probably need to download the tools mentioned on a clean computer, copy them to a flash drive or CD, then transfer them to the problem computer. Follow the instructions to the letter.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
