XP to Vista

Oct 11, 2007 4:47AM PDT

I am using Windows XP which I am perfectly happy with but am thinking of getting a new computer just because it's thereHappy My concern is accessing my work files which is on Outlook (Office 2003) which I backup on an external Maxtor hard drive. Will I be able to access Outlook files with Vista? That is base on the assumption it's not a problem to hook up the same Maxtor external drive to Vista. Other gadgets like Samsung MP3, BlackBerry I am not too concern with as I have a laptop with Windows XP.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Vista? Not with that but Office 2003 does run on Vista.

And while I may be cutting the words too finely (Vista does not open Word files...) you can install 2003 just fine on Vista AFTER you have removed any Office 2007 demo(n) version.

Thanks, Bob! I will hang on to XP for as long as possible!
