RAM Issue, trouble shoot it by using different RAM if simply reseating it doesn't work.
A colleague was attempting to reinstall XP on his Dell 8400 desktop using the provided reinstallation CD, he formated all partitions on the hard drive and then installed.
The installation seemed to work, but when the machine reboots, the XP bootscreen shows for half a second and then a blue screen shows up saying:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7C85524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)"
I tried the reinstall again but the same problem occurs. I have tried the dell resource CD (also included) but all it seems to do is run a diagnostic which returns no errors.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated and any other information needed just ask.
