to re-name the file to its original name. Then Re-Boot and start pressing the F8 key to go into Safe Mode.

Can you be more descriptive of the blue screen? Generally they will offer up a stop error name and code and will often indicate the name of the faulting driver if the fault is a driver.
so i my dell optiplex gx620 with windows xp was working fine when i turned it off today and restarted, after the xp boot up and before the logon screen, i kept getting a blue screen
problem seems to be caused by the following: BTCamDrv.sys
drivers unloaded without cancelling pending operations
i searched alot and someone suggested rename the file through the windows recovery console. i did that. Windows booted correctly and at the logon screen, mouse and keyboard didn't work. so i think the file was some driver for keyboard and mouse
then i went to the repair windows, everything was going good, when windows setup almost completed, it asked me a question do you want to install third party driver something like that, i couldn't answer becuase the keybaord and mouse don't work
keyboard and mouse work before xp boot up.
please help, i can't afford a clean install
