XP Pro games

I am running Xp Pro and have lost the games (solitaire, etc.) that came with it. I have looked in all the areas where it should be and I'm pretty sure they have been deleted. Can someone let me know how to reinstall those games?

Reinstalling games

I have already tried what you suggested and I get (paraphrased) "Need XP CD". What I'm looking for is a place to download the missing files from.I bought this computer used from a friend and I didn't get a system disk with it. Any ideas? Thanks.Mike

You need the XP CD.

As the content is Microsoft copyrighted it is not something you should find for download.

Some find this upsetting but it's their content and their choice to keep it off the net.

That's like buying a car without a spare tyre.

All's well until you need it. That's why cars without such is incomplete so should be cheaper. Same goes for a PC without disk.

Find another PC and copy it. That's somewhere between legal and illegal. But they won't notice.
