Windows time-keeping has never been a strong point. It can't be relied on. Never has.
There are articles about this at http://support.microsoft.com but your solution may be to have it synchronise more often.
Let's be clear that this is not just an issue for XP Pro. The time keeping of MS-DOS, Windows 1,2,3,95,98,ME,NT, 2000 and XP is not stellar. The time-sync really helps, but the underlying design can cause gains and losses.

past few days ive noteced the time speeds up gains time, i double click on the time and automatically snycronize is checked and when i sync. it it corrects itself.
boards 4 months old any help?
