XP Police

Some how this program appeard on my pc and I can not get rid of it. My antivirus has identified it as a virus and it has been moved to the vault. It keeps interrupting things I am doing and I want it gone.
It does not show up in programs so I can't us Add/Remove. Please!!! Help!!!

Do a Google Search, just type in XP Police and removal instructions will appear. I would have put the links on here but I don't know if this forum allows it. MalwareBytes free program might remove, XP Police looks like a tough malware program.

I don't know how you remove it from your vault, it seems like it is not containing it anyway.

there are plenty of Google hits on this.

I found this one at the Avast!WebForum, and that may help.

To tds, CNET doesn't mind posting specific advice to help posters with their problems, whether links or otherwise, and if that advice is from another forum then that is fine as well.

It is only open advertising, or soliciting members to use other forums instead of these that bring down the wrath of we Moderators,
