there isn't any reason to format FAT32 except for compatibility with Windows 9X systems.
Herb...
I installed a new hard drive in a friend's computer. It is 70 Gigabytes and I divided it into three partitions with 40% of it in NTFS with XP on it. I now need to format the D and E partitions which are in an extended paritition divided in half. My question is should I partition these logical drives in NTFS or Fat32?
The friend will only be using XP. Is there any reason to format in Fat32?
