Here's how we ran Windows back then -> http://www.macwindows.com/pcemul.html
I have an ibook. A very old one with very old mac version. No new softwares work on it cos OS is old and unsupported.
I am also not very knowledgeble about macs as I have only used Windows all my life and this is my cousin's laptop. So, I dont want to spoil it.
I want to install xp on it and remove mac. I tried the 'Boot Camp' software which lets you to use both mac and xp/vista, but it doesnt support old mac operating systems. I dont have a new mac cd but do have xp installation cd.
I dont want to first upgrade my mac os and then install xp.
Cant I format everything on the laptop and then install only xp? I tried to boot up the ibook with the xp bootable cd, as stated(pressing c key),it checked the cd,but didnt boot. And if I am able to instal xp on it somehow, will I get some drivers problems??
