I have XP Home (Media Edition) & have recently learned that XP Pro allows up to 10 units to be networked where XP Home only allows 6. When I add one more unit, I will have used the 6. Can I use a hub or switch to overcome this limitation, or must I go to XP Pro?

the limit is in the number of PC's that can connect to any one PC at the same time, not the number on the network. Look down the page here:

Thanks for the info. I really prefer the "Home" interface & the XP Media Edition (which I have) is based on XP Home.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
