While NTPASSWD might be noted by others, I can't since some have wiped out a few drives with that.
Yes it costs a bit, but so does locking your car keys in the car.

I have a computer here where(the client) forgot their XP admin pwd. I tried loading from a utility boot disk for DOS. Says it writes but to no changes to the password in the registry it makes.
